When we bought our first house, we called J C Campbell contractors to come change some outlets because they were old and some didn't work.. When Mr. Campbell himself came over, he told us we needed all new wiring, as well as a new meter. So, he changed all the outlets, some fixtures and a new meter and charged thousands of dollars.
When I got my first electric bill, it was for hundreds of dollars! I called the electric company, and they said something was wrong with my meter and they would send someone to come look at it. J C Campbell installed it backwards! We called him immediately and he came and he thought it was funny! I had to take a day off from work so they could install it the correct way, and he never even said he was sorry or anything. I should have sued him.
Oh, and only 6 years later, a few of the outlets and one of the light fixtures are already broken.
