Review content:
My fiance bought my engagment ring over two months ago from Levi & Sons (Parkway). Yes, it's a beautiful white gold invisible setting. THIS RING AND DEALING WITH THE STAFF HAVE BEEN NOTHING BUT A NIGHTMARE FROM DAY ONE. It's not every day a women is suprised with a ring she will wear the rest of her life. We had this wonderful (not) jewelry store place my 1 carat Princess cut solitare put into my new setting, which is called an invisible setting. First mistake don't buy a invisible setting from this store. Of course, this store thinks every girls finger is a size 6 (only size they carry at this store). With my new gorgeous, now 2 carat ring (solitare and setting totals 2 carats), has to be sized, fine. Due to being a invisible setting it has to be laser sized, fine, I want it done right, so send it to your downtown store. The jeweler in the El Cajon store placed my solitare in the new setting and placed it in crooked. This is when the nightmare began...they had my ring for over three weeks (after they said, oh it will be a week and then I got, yah not sure what is going on with the other jeweler, on and on), I continously got the run around. I also learned I was not the only customer to not have her new ring (there was a total of 6 customers, that were all facing the same thing). With a professional compnay you would think all the employees would communicate. Half the time I would go in there to check on the status of my ring, I always got different answers or they would b.s. me. I finally get my ring back after a nightmare and two weeks later, my diamonds are rattling. I take it back and of course they can't fix them in there, they have to AGAIN send it downtown, so here we go another week. I have asked them atleast three times, for the certificate of my diamonds. Once again, three people tell me different answers. The final answer I got was, only some of their rings come with certificates, but the wieght, color, etc. is printed on my receipt. WHAT!!! I don't care if $100. or $5,000. on a ring at this ""family"" jewelry store and you want to give your customer's b.s. line everytime they go in there. So look on your receipt, yes cuz that is professional. If I wasn't absolutely in love with this ring and could part with it, I would defintiely have gotten my money back. I will never buy another piece of jewelry from this store.
