Drs. Ryan and Melissa started me on my journey to getting my life back. With multiple disk issues, I had experienced chronic lower back and neck pain for many years. My primary care doctor thought I should have surgery, but that would be my last resort. After trying every therapy out there, including traditional chiropractic, injections, physical therapy, intramuscular stimulation, and even prolotherapy, none of it gave me more than temporary relief. Then I found Rock Creek Spine and Rehab. The day that I had my initial consultation with Dr. Melissa, I realized there was finally hope. She explained how their goal is to get your spine back to ""as close to normal"" as possible. With their multi-faceted approach, they designed a custom therapy for my situation, which includes chiro adjustments, traction and decompression. Pilates rehab is strengthening my body to support all the things they are doing to straighten my spine. After a just a few months under their care, my neck is well on its way to curving in the direction it's supposed to, my lower back no longer spasms, and my pain has decreased tremendously. I am well on my way to being 100% again, and I don't have to expect a lifetime of pain anymore. And THAT is priceless. No spinal surgery for me... Once my therapy is completed, I plan to do maintenance with RCS&R forever, to keep myself straightened out. :) Thank you so much, Rock Creek, for getting it right!
