Zero stars. Negative 100 stars! Worst experience of my life. We have moved into a home that had been vacant for a while after having been rented for many years. I personally had a walk-thru with the guy from Coastal Janitorial prior to them sending cleaners - I showed him everything I wanted done, in every room. He nodded. I explained that walls and doors would need washing because we wanted to ready them for painters. He nodded. We walked together every square foot of the house and I pointed to everything I wanted cleaned and also what I didn't want touched at all. It was 1600 square feet of empty house. I told them budget was not an issue at all. Their invoice was based on my requests. Came to $495. Not a lot, considering that I needed a very deep cleaning - there were dried sauce stains, etc. all over doors, walls and cabinets.. When we moved into the house - NOTHING of what we requested was done. What they did was ""surface wiping"" - that's all. Not a single window track or vent was cleaned. Cob webs everywhere. Doors were dirty. Dried up dirt all over the walls. I was in tears. Called them. The owner agreed to send in cleaners again. They did. Two girls came in... with... dusting rags and a spray bottle. That's all!! No wonder they didn't do what we asked (and paid for!) They couldn't reach anywhere above them. They had no supplies to scrub off food/gunk/dirt!! As I watched these girls wiping things again and again (things that needed scrubbing, not wiping), I made a video with my phone - one girl watching out the window dreamingly as she wiped the same surface for good 2 minutes. Then (!) the second girl going over the same surface in the same dreamy fashion. I asked these girls whether they had any experience in cleaning. They said they did office cleaning - vacuuming and wiping dust. No wonder my house was not cleaned properly. I released the girls nicely. Called the owner of Coastal Janitorial, emailed him on several occasions and explained our complaint. I laid it all out - we had tens of pictures and that video as well. I asked for a refund numerously. I got nowhere. Instead, I feel scammed and taken advantage of. I spent days on my hands, knees, and ladders cleaning while having two young children on my hands. I told all that to Frank Sanchez - the owner of Coastal Janitorial. I kept asking for a refund, since they did nothing of what we paid for. I believe Coastal Janitorial specializes in light office cleanings only. I believe they saw an opportunity to make easy money and they hoped the client wouldn't follow up on a horrible job they did. I had the worst experience of my life with these ""cleaners"". Don't ever hire them if you need anything more than light dusting. You will be disappointed with the results and you bet that you will waste your money!! No customer service, no quality, no professionalism. Stay away from them!!
