Review content:
I have been here twice before and it was good. This time though, it seems in their popularity, they have cut many corners in quality and skill of the food - not to mention service.
The miso soup tasted tinny, the rolls were wrapped poorly. Some weird fish was in the spider roll with the softshell crab. The bath room is somewhere in an alleyway. Literally, everything except the tempura tasted awful (including the sweet potato roll - how do you mess up miso soup anyway?).
I was served my rolls 20 minutes after my girlfriend got her bento box. I complained about the spider roll and the chef got upset and said we could pay half price. He even came out on the patio to look at me. I wasn't asking for a free meal, just saying it was sub-par. The roll was not discounted on the check.
