For appalling customer service, call Helping Hands Movers. \r
\r
I called Helping Hands Movers earlier this week for pricing and availability. I spoke with Lori and receive a price for my move, I was satisfied and made my reservation for this weekend.\r
\r
Earlier today I returned her phone call to confirm my appointment, in our conversation, she gave me THREE DIFFERENT PRICES within 10 minutes for the same move I called about earlier in the week. I told her that that was not what we agreed on, she said that I she didn’t know what I was talking about. I told her that I was disappointed in their service and she reply, “Well I’m disappointed that there was some kind of miscommunication and you misunderstood.” Shocked at the poor treatment from the employee, in anger I hung up and a while later called back to speak with the owner, a driver answered and “took the message.” I didn’t hear back within a reasonable amount of time, so I called a second time, and was given the owner’s cellular phone number and told to call, so I did. \r

I spoke with Jim with and received appalling service. I explained my situation with Lori giving me different prices for the same move I called about earlier in the week. He immediately interrupted me to defend his worker by saying that I must have gotten my information mixed up with another company, that she would never give out wrong information! I told Jim, that I had the phone call on speaker and had another person who hear the conversation that could attest to the initial price quote. He immediately started to “point fingers” by saying that I wasn’t paying attention when Lori and I were talking and that what I was saying wasn’t true. Mind you, this is the owner of Helping Hands Movers. He also gave me different pricing than she did. I told him that they did not have their information straight and provided poor customer service. He talked over me by saying I was the wrong one. I was unable to work out a solution with him that made all parties satisfied. He was busy trying to defend his employee rather than keeping a customer and helping promote the business in a positive light. For most of the conversation, the owner of Helping Hands Movers, Jim, interrupted and talked over me. I ended up disconnecting the call without resolution, but to take my money elsewhere. \r
