Review content:
First, my daughter was in their outpatient program for self-injury. What a waste of time. Then, last week, she was having a really hard time and I brought her to the hospital. First, they took us back into a room to await admission, and 3 hours later I called the outside line and they had no idea we were even there. They finally admitted her at 1:30am. When I called her the next day, she was miserable, intimidated, bullied and the staff was not sympathetic to her needs. I called the nurses station and told them I was coming to pick her up. I offered to bring her to another hospital if they were uncomfortable about discharging her. When I got there, they told me that the doctor on call would not discharge her, but would not get him on the phone for me to talk to him. I told them that I was not leaving without my daughter. They told me that they would take her into protective custody and call the police ON ME if I continued to protest. Fortunately, her psychiatrist discharged her a couple of days later.\r \r My advice...STAY AWAY FROM CENTERPOINTE.
