Pastor David Clever Bartholemew did not respond to provide me with the basics to perform my job;\r \r Last summer, I was hired as a part time salaried Sexton and Groundskeeper by Matt Grove and Scott Erlanger of Zion Lutheran Church on French Road in New Hartford. In September I brought the lack of properly working floor care equipment to Matt Grove's attention and then several times through the fall and winter concerning the Pastor's unrealistic expectations. Pastor David Clever Bartholemew did not respond to provide me with the basics to perform my job; no electricity in my custodial room for three weeks in September, a major water leak during heavy rain numerous times flooding my custodial closet and when the vacuum broke, I had to use my own for six weeks in October and November. On 5/23/2013 I notified Matt Grove, Pastor David Clever Bartholemew and Charles Carlson once again of the unrealistic expectations, lack of proper equipment and inadequate compensation. I notified Zion Lutheran Management on 5/26/2013 that I wanted to be paid adequate compensation immediately. \r \r Council President, Louis De Angelis, chose to fire me as of 5/30/2013 for my behavior and failure to perform duties, rather than address these important issues. This is illegal and I'm notifying the NYS Labor Board. This organization is responsible for providing reasonable employment and adequate compensation for citizens of the Mohawk Valley in compliance with NYS Labor Laws. \r
