Businiess name:  Griffin Animal Disease Lab

Review content:
Unfortunately my experience with Griffin Lab was not one I would recommend to anyone especially to someone having lost a pet and already in a sad state. I have never written a review online before but feel compelled to do so on this occasion. The receptionist at the front desk has zero compassion and treats her role as any other day at the office. I went in to drop my dog off that had passed away unexpectedly because I have another dog from the same litter so it was important to me to find out what had happened to him in case it was something I could prevent for the other dog. I was greeted by a woman who seem scattered and unorganized and distracted and treated the experience like I was dropping off some old clothes at the Salvation Army. Two weeks later I call to check on the status of the results and she put me on hold three times and acted as if my calling was a bother. By the second time I was put on hold I still hadn't even got out what I was calling in reference to only to provide my name and asked to speak to the doctor. He's on vacation (which FYI the person doing the actual tests and providing the results is very nice and helpful). When I asked to leave him a message that was greeted with another place on hold. Just really unhappy with the person that is the first point of contact at the only facility in Charlotte that does this type of work. She should show more compassion for the people she interacts with given the nature of her work. Have some pride in what you do for the city and for humanity in general.
