\r ""Sets a high bar for service in the health-care profession!\r \r Dr. Yokoi, his partner and staff have amazed me with how caring and service-oriented healthcare professional can be! One day, my teen daughter ""lost"" her contact somewhere in her eye and was in great pain. I called her regular eye doctor who was unavailable. I then called an optometrist friend in SF who recommended a couple of colleagues in the East Bay. Only Dr. Yokoi understood the gravity of the situation and was able to see her, even with his packed schedule. After examining my daughter, he found her soft contact rolled into a mini-log and hidden in the upper part of her lid. He extracted it immediately to my daughter's great relief.\r \r Now, our entire family of four myopic people all go to see Dr. Yokoi. Their entire office is warm, caring, courteous, accommodating, respectful and most importantly, knowledgeable and professional. \r \r After years of waiting hours in packed doctors' office, feeling shuffled around and low-priority, I find being at Rockridge Optometry borders on being in heaven! It's great to be valued!""
