Review content:
This isn't a luxury hotel--but again, you can't expect a luxury hotel at the reasonable prices offered by this hotel. I have always found it to be clean and well-managed, and never had a problem with noise--even on OSU Mom's weekend, when the hotel was full. I appreciate the availability of free coffee, juice and fresh fruit in the morning. It's RIGHT on the river, so that you can walk out your door and find a great place to run or walk, nearby restaurants and colorful shops, and a Saturday morning farmer's market in season. As I'm not one to spend a lot of time in a hotel (usually off doing something with my OSU son), a basic room at an affordable price meets my needs. The management has always been helpful with travel tips and patiently answered my questions about the hotel's rewards program. I have traveled a lot, and know that a hotel must be viewed in relation to the price charged. This hotel exceeded my expectations, which is why I have stayed here several times--both alone and with my adult daughter, another seasoned traveler. I would recommend the hotel to OSU parents and others who might be seeking a reasonably priced, basic room in a good location with mini-fridge/microwave and morning coffee.
