Review content:
I went to this restaurant with my MIA and son. I have some specific health needs because of a chronic illness but from the start, even with my MIA's rave reviews of a sandwich she loved, she/we noticed our server was aloof, very pushy to get our order quickly and elusive I think was her exact word. I ordered and we were eating and I mentioned the corn seemed a bit soggy (corn on the cob) but I ate something I cook a lot; Tilapia. I ordered it with all the toppings on the side so even to my surprise I was a bit shocked that I didn't realize earlier what the problem was. I got more then 1/2 way through it and then I actually put the fork down to pick up this fish that wasn't flakey but seemed soggy and kinda dense and realized it was RAW! This fish wasn't cooked through and what is sad is it only takes a few minutes to cook Tilapia so it also scared me b/c I began worrying about the potential of even cross contamination. With my health and lack of immune system, I worried and had to take my medication quick to try and ward off any nausea but it wasn't until later that night and mid-night and next day that I realized the fish and it's lack of being cooked did affect me. I can't say it was any food poisoning but I had a few of the symptoms. Either way, I didn't want to bother the waiter about it all b/c I didn't think he'd do much so I went to the mgr. directly who got a incident report I had to fill out and what really seemed to get me was that after all this, yes he was kind and kept offering me any help but they still charged for my drink and my MIL's food and my son's food. Not that their food had issues but they had to sit there and watch it all and wait while all this happened. I would think I guess that since there were so many offers of ""what can we do"", the simple thing to do would be to comp the meals and say sorry. I'm still waiting for a call and as of yet I don't have any bigger issues then just my body seemed to want to rid itself of that food ASAP. So it was a long night, an upset stomach and hopefully that is all.
