Review content:
Very lazy business to deal with, don't use them if you have a choice. They did my appraisal and walked through the house in like 5 minutes. I called 4 times and left voice messages over a week to inquire on the status and still haven't received a call back.
When my bank finally got the appraisal the value was equal to my purchase price 18 months ago. They basically just took the purchase price of my home and then found comps to justify that value. What is the probability that a house is worth precisely the price I paid for it 18 months ago to the penny with $20k in improvements? Zero. I paid $400 to get an honest appraisal done, to find out if my house went up or down in value... not to find out my purchase price. Thanks for nothing.
