Through a referral I applied for liability insurance for my business there quote was double what I previously paid but I figured it was just the going rate. After answering many questions that didn’t apply to my business I gave them my money and received more questions to answer. I felt like they were just trying to get the policy through whether it applied to my business or not. So before turning in my second questionnaire I shopped around again and found a better rate with a better company. I never received proof of insurance from Benz but when I tried to opt out of the policy they informed me that the policy was open for one day and they have to charge me 25% cancellation fee. Even though they owe me 900 it took three weeks for them to offer 115 and then another 100 in 2 weeks .. 5 weeks for 215 dollars.
