Review content:
The first time I took one of my kitties to Cat Specialist it was because I had read about their radio-iodine treatment for hyperthyroidism in the paper. I had a cat that had been diagnosed by another vet has having hyperthyroidism. She was about 7 years old and was losing weight rapidly and was not responding at all to the medication. I took her to Dr. Olson and within a week she was gaining weight and lived to the old age of 18!! I have taken all my kitties to Dr. Olson since then and would never take any of my cats anywhere else. I had two Maine Coon cats that both had congenital heart issues. He worked with their prescriptions until he came up with a combination that halted further deterioration. Dr. Olson and his staff LOVE cats and will take the time to talk to you about concerns or just to talk about cats in general. My cats are very calm when they are there and I never feel they are stressed out. An added bonus are the very cool and beautiful office cats that hang out at the front desk. \r
