BEWARE!! The service tech was clean professional and friendly. That's where it ends. Our problem was that moisture was building up in the bottom of the fridge and turning into puddles over weeks. The tech showed up, fixed it and left. I opened the fridge once between that evening (approx 9pm) and the next evening after returning from work. Upon starting dinner, I realized that everything in the freezer had thawed (now remember that you cannot refreeze food for risk of food poisoning) and the fridge was warm. I checked the plug; it was in and the light was on. I called and was met with a prompt response when the gal on the phone told me that she would have someone out shortly.\r
Three hours later I received a call informing me that because we had not paid yet, they could not perform warrantee work. I explained that this was not warrantee work, rather it was a new problem and that in order for the freezer to have already completely thawed, it would have had to have begun last night (when the tech was here).\r
I explained that we were not interested in paying yet because there was now a much bigger problem than before and we wanted it fixed. I also explained that my roommate and I had each just completed a major grocery shop and that she could verify that with her tech. Now I am up against the clock to consume the food before it spoils. \r
I also explained that I, as a general contractor, would never in my right mind expect a customer to first pay me for a very minor repair before I would fix a major issue most likely caused by me while completing that minor repair . I will never again use Appliance Repair.\r
While I was writing this, I called another appliance repair shop and can't get anybody out here until tomorrow morning between 7 and 9 am. Now I am off to the City and County of Denver's website to download the forms to take Action to court. I will most likely lose all the food in that machine \r
This is an abomination of a business model. The owner's should be ashamed of themselves!!
