Synergy in Astoria is HORRIBLE. They are despicable CON ARTISTS. Please, I am begging you, DO NOT JOIN, for your own good. \r

I followed all the necessary protocol to cancel my membership including sending a letter by certified mail and following up to ensure receipt. Despite that, I later realized that they had been continually charging my account and refused to stop! They claimed they never got the letter and I had to tell my bank to block any future payment to them. The management/staff is extremely sleazy and it disgusts me that they habitually steal from innocent people and get away with it. Trust me, stay away from this gym. I don't want anyone to have to deal with what I went through with these people. Best of luck.
