Businiess name:  Herman Movers

Review content:
The most unprofessional moving company I have ever experienced.\r \r Keith Herman was called by my wife and came out to the house and gave us a quote for $650 dollar to move the home.\r \r The day of the move came and there were 4 movers who immediately seemed overwhelmed by the move (how do I know? Because they never stopped complaining). My wife and I both said to each other, ""aren't these guys movers. Don't you think they have seen a house packed up before?"" \r \r They spent the first hour sitting in the U-haul that was rented for the job (which was too small for the move) calling friends and asking them to come and help. All the while I moved a large amount of the house myself. (I was always under the impression that you shouldn't have to move anything if you hire a moving company.) (I also had to make 3 trips in the preceding days with a truck I borrowed because they refused to move anymore stuff from the house.) \r \r Soon after noon a fifth mover arrives at the house wearing a baggy sweater (keep in mind it was 90º that day). His name was Eban Brown. He immediately went to our 3rd floor and came down without any boxes. When he came back into the house he was not wearing the sweater anymore, and our laptop was missing. \r \r Later that day after they left I use Find my iPhone tracking app and located the laptop in the 1st ward of Buffalo. I called the police and reported the laptop stolen. Eban Brown was later questioned by the Police and had a change of conscience. My wife and I both witnessed him returning the laptop (that no longer worked) to our driveway the day after the police spoke to him. \r \r From here on out I will let my legal team handle the rest of my dealing with Herman Movers.\r \r PROS\r • 4 of the 5 movers were very nice guys and not criminals. \r • They were kind enough to let me move boxes to help them. \r • They were affordable: Quoted $650. Charged $850 + $160 tip and the cost of a $2,000 laptop \r \r CONS (no pun intended) \r • I had the chance to to work on my penmanship, since my laptop was stolen and then returned broken. \r • On a serious note, I would suggest you highly reconsider hiring Herman Movers. Even if they are the low quote.
