Review content:
First, I have to say that I did NOT get an eye examination here so I am not commenting on the quality of the doctors here.I would like to comment on the service I received when ordering a pair of prescription sun glasses. It was HORRIBLE!! I found a pair I liked, my prescription is pretty easy. Of course I wanted all the extras, progressive lenses, polarized, etc. They told me it would take a week to 10-days. THREE WEEKS later, it still was not ready! They said it had to be shipped from New York! I would think there are labs a lot closer than the east coast! In my opinion, this Optometry shop, sends their orders to the cheapest lab to maximize profits. I was reading some other comments here and I have friends told me. that it seemed as though there were a LOT of fees. The last time they had an eye exam (at a different eye doctor), they were not charged separately for the reading glasses prescription and for the exam exam. I don't know if this is standard procedure, but they were a $150 addition to the co-pay for their regular exam. Yikes!.I ask myself if this is even legal? or is there a scam going on at this place?.
