DO NOT trust this business with your your items! The owner has no sense of customer service and ruined my wedding dress. This company damaged my wedding dress (two weeks before my wedding) by providing unauthorized services to my dress and they refuse to pay for damages. I had to have the bottom of my wedding dress spot cleaned after bridal portraits, before my wedding. I dropped the dress off a week ago, and the lady told me they would be able to spot clean the bottom of the dress and they would give me a discount if I also agreed to have the dress preserved after the wedding. I come back to pick up my dress, and the dress was ruined at the top. The sash has the beading and threads making the sash were falling off. I asked her why the top was cleaned at all to begin with, and she did not have an answer, she made me pay and told me to call the owner, Brenda, in the morning. When I called Brenda, she told me that she remembered my dress because she had to write the ticket the next morning for it (the other lady didnt even write the ticket with details regarding the specifications and Brenda, who I did not even deal with the night before, wrote the specifications wrong on the ticket so they did not know to spot clean the bottom only). I told her the situation and she said she would have to call the ""owner"" (I was told she was the owner but I guess not), which is a man who owns all the County Cleaners. He refused to give a refund, saying that I signed a damage waiver. I did sign a damage waiver when dropping the dress off... but the company provided unauthorized services when I was promised just the bottom of the dress would be spot cleaned. Brenda told me that the owner states it is impossible to spot clean just the bottom and they cleaned the entire dress. Cleaning of the entire dress is not the service I wanted or agreed to, I was promised just the bottom to be spot cleaned and now the top of my dress is ruined right before the wedding. I now have to have the sash replaced (rush replaced, which is costly) and the owner refuses to refund the cleaning fee and refuses to pay the damages to get the sash replaced all on basis of a ""waiver"" when they provided different services than what was verbally agreed to. This is like bleaching a suit and saying a waiver was signed, but the bleach ruined the blue suit- the customer did NOT ask for anything to be bleached. The waiver means nothing when the services provided were done without my want or permission, they did not even call me to let me know they could not spot clean the bottom (the sales associate the night of told me this would be ""NO problem""). In fact, Brenda told me nothing was written on the slip about wanting just the bottom spot cleaned- because Brenda wrote the slip, and I guess the other employee did not tell her what I wanted, which is not my problem... they should have written the slip right then to avoid anything wrong from happening, but instead the lady waited for Brenda the next day to write it and Brenda did not know what I wanted done to the dress, and the wrong service was performed. The bottom line is, they ruined my dress by doing something to my dress that I did not authorize them to do. I was told the dress bottom would be spot cleaned only, and that is not what happened which ended up ruining the top of my dress. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this horrible place. I have reported them to BBB and will also be filing a lawsuit against them for full damages of my (very expensive) dress.
