Review content:
I trusted the ads about this place and stored all the contents of my home after we sold.
The security is so minimal as to be practically non existing. Anyone can pull up, wait for another car to go in and then follow that car in. Once inside, its a free for all because there is almost no one ever around and all a crook has to do is break the lock on your unit and they are in.
Even if its not an outsider, any 'tenant' can gain access and do the same thing. THERE ARE NO SECURITY CAMERAS!
I had a large unit there, filled with the contents of a 3 bedroom home. Someone broke in, and stole the entire contents! They did not leave a single thing-not even pictures of my kids or other personal stuff.
I was surprised when the police 'unofficially' told me that break ins are not at all uncommon at this location.
I complained to Public Storage only to be chastised for not buying their extra 'insurance'.
My advice to anyone considering this location -call Huntington Beach PD and ask about break ins reported at Public Storage. OR BETTER YET -STAY AWAY!
I'm sorry I ever used these people. Not only did they fail in every respect possible (all my goods are gone), they accepted no responsibility, and offered no compensation.
My valuables would have been safer on the front lawn...
