My fraternity hosted our end of year banquet here in the outdoor patio/banquet area. This was the first time we ever did it in an outdoor area, and it was really nice! Lots of pretty flowers surrounding us and the decorations by the hotel was really simple but classy. Usually, we have a dance party after the dinner, but there was no dance floor out here. Instead, we had a really sweet and sentimental program to send off our graduating seniors (like myself).\r

I always talk about the food when we have these banquets, and we had a buffet-ish set up. We got up to wait in line to get our food instead of having it served to us. The night's menu was Italian, and we had 2 kinds of pasta. The white cream sauce penne was really good, but the spaghetti was mediocre to say the least. There was also a salad with slices of strawberry and pine nuts. So good!! The steamed vegetables weren't bad either.
