We own a 2007 Ford Explorer Sport Trac which has been a great truck but is now showing signs of wear-n-tear. We have always taken the Sport Trac to our local Ford dealer when it came to annual servicing and minor repairs. We have never left the dealer with a bill that was less than $150, so, when we started to notice that the air conditioner was not blowing out cold air, I decided to ask a friend if he had any recommendations, knowing that I did not want to take it to the Ford dealer because of their “pricing structure”! This friend recommended Uptown Automotive. We decided to have Uptown do a check on the air conditioner with an estimate of what it would cost to have it repaired. They did find a leak and gave us what sounded to be a very honest assessment of what was needed and how much it would cost. We felt that the price was very fair and very affordable so we decided to have Uptown Automotive complete the job. Since then, August 1, 2013, the air conditioner has been great. We are a 2-car family so I am looking to have Uptown Automotive take over the servicing of both cars. They are friendly, fair and a pleasure to deal with. Thank you, Uptown Automotive.
