A Very unfortunate incident but we would like to clarify this matter as well as express our side of the story. Patient was was informed of fitting/evaluation fee of $55 prior to the examination. Everyone who wears contacts are required to read and understand our contact lens fee written policy BEFORE being seen by our doctors. This patient agreed to be fitted for Acuvue Oasys and was very happy with her prescription. Patient decided a week later to order Freshlook colored contact lenses, not Acuvue Oasys that was fitted by the doctor. She tried to order contacts through ""WALGREEN"". Her language barrier is obviously an issue because Walgreen does not sell contact lenses. As a courtesy, the doctor approved her for Acuvue Colors since it has the same specs. as Acuvue Oasys. Patient finally understood and decided to finalize her Rx to Acuvue Colors.
