I went to trendsetters closet yesterday because of the wonderful reviews that I read. I had several very very nice items to consign. I walked into the shop, and the owner completely snubbed me. She said no hello, how are you doing, welcome to my shop, or may I help you. I wasn't even acknowledged. When I told her about the items I wanted to consign, it was obvious that she didn't care, and wasn't interested. In fact, she just turned her head away from me, and had the attitude of ""get out of my shop, your things aren't good enough"". It is actually her loss for not looking. I had multiple items that were beautiful and would have sold very quickly in her shop. Today, I was planning to take a a HUGE amount of Ann Taylor clothing to her shop to consign. The items were all in immaculate condition, and many were even brand new with tags. I will never step foot into this shop again! In all honestly, the consignment shop that is two buildings up from hers is nicer, and the owner is extremely nice! I will taking my things somewhere else! Sorry you felt I wasn't good enough for your consignment shop! You may consider your store to be ""upscale"", but still in all actuality, you are still ONLY a Consignment shop!!!
