Review content:
I'm not surprised at all that negative stories about this place have popped up on KSL and other news sites. My Dad was at this place for only 3 days and was immediately treated like trash. Being one of the rare addicts that can still lead a successful personal life while using, he built up a very successful business. The Ark was well aware of this. They had him sign his entry papers while he was high on cocaine and heroin and then had him sent to the hospital to detox before coming back to the Ark. Well unknown to us was a promise to pay the full amount regardless of treatment ($15,000). They sent threatening letters demanding payment and sent the bill to collections right away. He talked them down to a few thousand, and for 3 days of ""treatment"" they should have been thrilled. But 6 months after cashing the check they filed suit for the rest of the bill. It may be legal to do all this, but in my book you only get paid for the work that you do, the Ark did next to nothing and got paid very well for it, and now they want more. Stay very far away...
