Review content:
I used to take my kids to this office. Our first visit was with Dr. Hineman and she was wonderful. After that initial visit, we saw the NP. It was very hard to see the Dr. \r

I feel like they have nickel and dimed my family. Everytime we took our kids there, they brought us back for a follow up appoinment a week later AND billed the insurance company for that follow up visit. Per my insurance company those follow up visits are NOT billable charges since they have already paid for the issue. I brought that up to the biller (Theresa) and she said my insurance is ""crappy""! Really? Even if you felt that way, you never tell someone their insruance is ""crappy"" especially when we pay over $600/mo for the insurance and do not rely on government help. \r
\r
They are also notorious for telling us that they will prescribe an antibiotic and will call it in to our pharmacy. When we picked up the prescription, there were 3 more medications that they have called in. I have had to deny these medications since I have 6 boxes of albuterol and 3 bottles of ear drops. \r
\r
Another incident that really annoyed me was when I brought in my child to follow up after his ENT (ear, nose, throat) visit. I told the NP that we went to see the ENT the previous week and we were to follow up with the ENT in 6 months. Well, she had the medical assistant do a hearing test in their office. Why would you do a hearing test when we went to the specialist to do a series of tests and they have the results in their charts? They did it so they can bill my insurance company and collect my co-payment. \r
\r
I would steer clear from this office. Their business practice is just awful.
