This is absolutely as good as it gets! I just moved to the area and was looking for a groomer for my little yorkie mix. She was an abused and neglected stray when I found her, so she has some quirks. Most relevantly, she cannot be confined (she has actually eaten her way out of a hard plastic kennel, teeth bleeding) and she's afraid of loud noises. I called Deb and asked if she could groom little Ava without putting her in a kennel, and she said she absolutely could and that she'd do the grooming as quickly as possible so Ava could go back home. I could not have been more impressed. I showed up for my appointment, and Deb remembered that Ava didn't want to be in a kennel. Within an hour (an hour, people!), she called and said Ava was ready to come home! When I picked her up, they had set up a little play pen in the lobby for her, with a bed and a blanket, and they were playing with her. Ava was adorable -- with a handkerchief around her neck and a pretty flower in her hair! Deb was super complimentary of Ava's behavior (compared to other groomers who have said my dog did ""better than I expected""). She also noted that Ava doesn't like the dryer (note the fear of loud noises), so she didn't dry her all the way. I can't tell you how rare it is to find a groomer who is so attentive to the dog's needs -- so KIND and COMPETENT and EXCEPTIONAL. If you have a dog and you care about how he or she is treated when groomed, this is absolutely, hands down, no doubt, THE place to go.
