Review content:
\r I Live in lake panorama in Sussex, NJ, I'm am a general contractor and have been in construction for over 17 years. I have a good understanding of how components operate and what would cause a system to fail. This past Sunday my well pump started tripping the circuit breaker and stalling. I contacted George Slater and several other well pump contractors. The only return call I received was from George Slater Pumps. like I mentioned this was a Sunday and he returned my call within 20 minutes. I explained my symptoms over the phone and he was able to figure the problem was one of 2 things. The next morning bright and early he was at my residence troubleshooting the system, the wiring was checked and verified operational. The draw on the pump to start the motor was stalling and causing the pump to heat and trip breaker. George came prepared to start work, he had a pump on the truck (pump was an assumption based on the depth of well and system), wire and poly pipe ready to go. Unfortunately the weather was not cooperative and we had to schedule the work for the following day. Tuesday came and the work started. Not only did George perform the work required to change the pump he offered his opinion on the original installation processes and pointed out current building code requirements. He tested the wiring and confirmed it was in working condition. Changed out the fittings that showed ware and completed the install within several hours. I opted to upgrade the poly pipe which caused the project to take a little longer. I have since received several return calls from other contractors and had them price the project based on the work performed leaving out the fittings replacement, I did not mention this had been completed already. There prices ranged form 20 -30% Higher and most mentioned that additional charges could be incurred if any other components needed to be replaced. Overall I am very pleased with the professionalism of George W. Slater and would highly recommend his company. \r Thanks again George, it was a pleasure doing business with you. \r Kindest Regards, \r Matt B.
