Review content:
Solomon's is the kind of place you just keep coming back to. The food is excellent, the owner/chef and his wife treat you like family, and you don't have to wait 30 minutes for the ""buzzer"" to go off to get a table. Some of the menu items are middle eastern. Although I see many people ordering those selections and ""licking the plate"", I tend to go for the Italian and American fare. The Chicken Florentine is a winner as is the Grilled Salmon (my favorite). My wife is addicted to the Crabcakes ( just enough ""cake"" to keep crab together), my sons are divided between the Chicken Salad Pita Wrap and the best Hamburger in Raleigh! The salads are also very good. I like the House Salad with Grilled Chicken and Homemade Poppyseed Dressing. If you want to invent your own entree, just ask. Chef Khoury will whip up anything you want if he has the ingredients. He is obviously a man who enjoys what he does. Solomon's is a casual, friendly, family kind of place that will please anyone's palate. I love the mild lentil rice pilaf, the creamy mashed potatoes, and the fresh vegetables that accompany most entrees. The vegetables are always fresh and crisp tender using whatever is freshest and in season. Solomon's is the place to go when you have a group with varied tastes. Not only can they accomodate parties 6-12 with ease, there is something delicious on the menu to please even the pickiest eater. Pros: Something for everyone, fresh vegetables, good prices, easy parking
