Had a vehicle brought to the Sherwood office (North Little Rock). Found the staff (front office) to be rude, unknowledgable and poor people skills. All paperwork was signed for repairs before estimate was even given. Since the accident had injuries most communications were done via phone, instigated by our side. This repair shop is a PREFERRED; repair shop for the insurance company and did NOT make it clear in any phone conversation that the repair to the bumper would be BONDO (vs replacing the bumper). BTW, this was a collision that happened on the HWY at 60MPH .. this does actual damage to a vehicle. The Front Office person loved to use the phrase "It's just a little fender bender". Never seen something happen at 60MPH be a little anything.. muchless when there are injuries. \r \r Due to rudeness, lack of proper communication, etc, we opted to have the vehicle moved to a completely different repair shop (independent one vs a chain). I went to their office on Landers road to instigate this, found out the amount owed and how to get the new company to pick up our vehicle. According to the new repair shop and tow truck driver, when they picked up the vehicle, front office was also rude (and yelled) at them, tried to refuse to accept the business check that was presented to pay for said repairs (BONDO work) and they complained about loosing money due to the vehicle being moved to a different body shop. According to their front office they do not accept personal checks over $500 (interesting because this was a business check from another auto body repair facility and Team 1 KNEW they would be showing up to collect the vehicle with a check - and never said anything to me about a problem when I was there) Eventually our vehicle was released...at least now we know it will be repaired correctly.\r \r Things to watch out for: \r \r - Poor communication. \r \r - Make sure you have the estimate BEFORE signing anything about repairs\r \r - Be sure they are replacing parts and not just BONDOing things\r \r - Remember, your insurance may want you to take it to a preferred repair shop.. but you can take it ANYWHERE you WANT! \r \r - Their pictures of the damage to a vehicle are taken with a CELL PHONE in POOR LIGHTING with no zoom ability (or just didn't bother to use it). Poor quality photos make it difficult to really determine the amount of damage to the vehcile (thankfully we took pics at the accident in bright daylight so it was very clear!)\r \r - You do not EVER have to accept BONDO as a repair choice.. unless you are opting to go for the absolute cheapest route. In talking to several repair shops today, none of them would ever even consider quoting for Bondo, unless that was the owner's request. So watch this carefully in any quote from this company.\r
