This school is a bit faulty. My nephew attended this school last year, when they only had a Georgia Pre-K program, when they were practically BEGGING parents to enroll their kids. Their classes were half full, and my sister was able to enroll her son mid-school year, no problems. This year my daughter is Pre-K eligible. She joined the ""waiting list"" for the Pre-K program for this year about a year ago. I dropped off her paperwork, and was promised that we had a spot this year. I called several times to ensure this, and was promised profusely that we had a spot. For the 2013 school year they started a paid pre-k program (where parents pay out of pocket). Miraculously, I was ""bumped out"" of the spot that I was promised for the Georgia Pre-K program, and told I can attend the ""paid"" program until a spot becomes available. That wouldn't be a problem, if it wasn't so suspicious. To add to that, my nephew owed the school a balance for lunches, which is his mother's responsibility, not mine. The woman actually mentioned ""you can't say your family has been supportive of this school when your nephew owes a balance that was never paid"". Unbelievably rude! My nephew has absolutely NOTHING to do with me in terms of payments. His mother is responsible for his payments, and the fact that she did not pay his balance has nothing to do with my ability to pay my daughter's bills. The treatment I received by this school, the utter disregard for respect and people's time has been unreal. My husband and I make over $130,000 a year, we can pay our bills! They were so eager to be judgmental, money-hungry, and hold another person's bill against us that they didn't realize they missed out on a wonderful child who has very successful and supportive parents. We would have been extremely supportive to this school. What a shame. Goddard School, here we come!
