Going into the practice you feel like you are in a line of cattle ready for slaughter. You are nickel and dimed most of the time. The office charges you for precertifications/authorizations for medications that they prescribe you. Orders to labs, radiology, and also prescriptions are not sent in a timely fashion. If you call because the pharmacist asks that you inform them that a script is illegible b/c they have tried unsucessfully to have it resent, you get charged. Maybe one out of 3 employees is polite. Just like the ER, only not as exspensive, unless you are smart enough to research things for yourself. It is such a shame that the practice is run the way it is because Dr. Melmed is an EXCELLENT physician. Pros: newly furnished/built location Cons: Awful office and billing practices, you can stand in line 10 min early, but still be 10min late to your appt. and they would tell you that you are late
