Review content:
I HIGHLY DISCOURAGE ANYONE, PARTICULARY WOMEN FROM USING THIS COMPANY.\r
\r
I fournd their listing on Service Magic and got a call from Ever Dry. They took my information, and asked if I owned the home. When I informed them I did (I am the sole person on the mortgage & title), however my husband lives with me, they informed me that I wouldn't be able to get a quote unless ""all homeowners are present at the time of consultation."" When I told them I would be, my husband is not the home owner, the assistant said that the company still requires him to be present to be sure ""you are both on the same page"" because ""who ever makes the home decisions should be there"".\r
\r
I informed her I make all home decisions, pay all the bills, and hire contractors for work. My husband has a busy job and I do not have the luxury of having him take a day off of work to be present for an estimate, when in the end it is me that makes all the decisions and deals with payment. She informed me that didn't matter...\r
\r
I have never dealt with such a close-minded company in my life, and an shocked that in this day and age a company would require me to have my husband present - as if I, a woman, cannot make this decision myself.\r
\r
I was appalled, and when I called back to be sure I had the name of the company correct the rude young woman I was talking to cut me off and hung up on me. \r
\r
SUCH A COMPANY SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS.
Pros: That I realized this prior to hiring them
Cons: Everything else
