Businiess name:  Alaska State Fair Raven Hall

Review content:
Raven Hall is becomming more and more used by many entities. It is in dire need of interior improvements. I have attended Christmas parties, Gun shows, concert series events and Fair time events.\r The basic structure is not very attractive from the outside and it doesn't get any better once you get inside.\r Alaska is a relatively young state, and harsh in climate respects for most of the year, and we need a place that can be ""multi purpose"".The state fair grounds is a fairly central location for people of the state to access. When I attend events there, I am reminded of how miserable it is. I think that an engineering firm should be consulted and improvement could be looked into. As an electrician, I have been around construction for 25 years. I think that an accoustical ceiling could be easily retrofitted between the iron structure. This would allow lighting improvements (more efficient flourescent) and the sprinkler system could also be modified fairly(no pun intended) easily I would think. The accoustical ceiling concept would take away the ""echo chamber ""effect. As far as the exterior goes...maybe a ""fake log"" siding could be considered to give that warm feeling. Well, thats about it. If you are going to attend the Holiday Ball on December 12th, you will feel my pain...see you there!\r lazymuleman
