Review content:
I would avoid this orthodontist! Our daughter started treatment with him in June 2008 and was supposed to be done with treatment for Phase 1 in 12-15 months. We are 20 months into the treatment and still not finished. Dr. Lugo has been inconsistent with his answers to our questions and his office runs like a clinic rather than a professional office. His phone systems are often not working and he is only in each of his 4 offices an average of once every week and a half. Definitely NOT a good experience. The final blow came this week when we found out that our daughter has two impacted teeth that now must be removed. We have consulted several other orthos as we don't intend to stay with Lugo for Phase 2 and all of the orthos we have consulted have said that the issue of the impacted teeth should have been caught prior to now. There are plenty of orthodontic choices in the McKinney/Plano/Allen area--choose another one!
Cons: too many to list
