Review content:
I was referred to this doctor by a relative after being in another health care system. My original health care system was associated with a University, where I was told mis-information numerous times. In the old system, I went in for fibroids and ovarian cysts. An IUD was recommended and during the procedure to address the fibroids the IUD was supposed to be placed. When went to the doctors pre-op, I was told which doctor who would be doing the survey; however, the day of surgery, I was informed that that doctor was just going to observe and a resident would be doing the actual survey. It felt like the old bait and switch, but I was already there and ready, so I went ahead. BIG MISTAKE! Not only did they have problems with the fibroids, they put a hole in my uterus (claimed very small, so the doctor - not resident). Everything I read indicated they would not place an IUD if there was a hole, but these people did anyway. Therefore, by the time I was finished with my old health care system, I had 3 problems instead of just two (IUD in abdomen). Their solution - hysterectomy (as symptom control).
