Review content:
We called about a used truck that they advertised. My brother informed the Used Truck Sales Manager the price we can do. The sales guy told him that he could work with that price. We informed him that we would be driving 9 hours from Raleigh NC to get the truck and didn't want any misunderstandings. After his assurances my brother gave them the info needed to run his credit. We rented a car and drove to Ohio to get the truck. When we got there the sales guy told my brother that he didn't recall ever discussing prices with my brother on the phone and tried to sell the truck for sticker price (totally unprofessional and deceptive). He figured that since we drove 9 hours to get there that we would cave in and pay whatever they asked. We left. On the way back my brother called to have them shred his credit info. The finance guy didn't know we left and was surprised. My brother explained what happened and they worked out a deal (the deal still wasn't hat was originally agreed but we decided it was good enough). The reason they said they couldn't go lower on the price was because they put too much money into the truck. After a closer inspection of the truck we noticed that it was painted with rollers. The passenger side mirror was broken and the icing on the cake was that they put gas in the truck before we left. When we stopped to gas up about 180miles into the drive back we noticed that the housing where you put the gas in was broken and hanging. I had to pull it up back in the hole to put the gas nozzle in. I feel totally taken advantage of. Any dealer that would do that to buyers who drove such a long distance to buy, would do it to anyone! Issues like this are not limited to the sales staff alone these questionable ethics must come from the top-down. The only thing good I feel I should mention was that the finance guy there was sincere in trying to help, but since he only deals with he financing side of the transaction you are stuck going through what we had to go through if you shop there, so DON'T DO IT! Don Sitts Isuzu should have their business shut down period! The worst buying experience ever that will leave you with buyers remorse!
