Review content:
This hotel has been around for years and has been a mid-level go to for family members traveling into the area. Unfortunately, it has declined greatly and is not worth any rate unless you plan to clean your room upon arrival.\r \r The entire hotel is dirty - dirty as in you can see the stains on the carpet, smudges and build-up on the walls in both the rooms and the breakfast area, and if you walk around barefoot your feet are black.\r \r Attention from staff is hit and miss - the lady at the front desk who was not in a position to to exchange the non-working fridge was pleasant, though un effective. She was also not in a position to provide lightbulbs to 3 out of 4 bulbs in the room that didn't work, but held it together through what I am betting was a rough night due to many people changing rooms and she being the ONLY person at the front desk. We (including a teenager and 2 toddlers) did get a new room at 11pm, which was simply 2 keys to new issues with an air conditioner from 1972 that managed to provide cool air but sounds like a jet plane.\r \r The rest of the staff I have incurred has been severely lacking on the customer service level to the point of not even responding to my ""good morning"" on passing. Employees who stare at the ground when customers show up is never a good sign of success of a place.\r \r My advice - hiring a cleaning crew to scrub from top to bottom, maybe twice, forget the fancy chair here and there and instead go for a coat of paint and upgrades to the air conditioning units, then start over with new managament wanting to provide a good experience. The potential here is enormous with the banquiet hall attached, but the filth and service currently in place are not helping the Comfort Inn reputation. If I wasn't here for a wedding reception I would be checking out.
