The doctor will rip you off. You will not get an itemized receipt for your visit. \r

I called ahead, they told me that visits start at $92, and go up after that depending on if you have any tests done. I refused all tests, my case was as simple as possible so no tests were needed. I knew I had strep throat. The doctor even told me that even if he did test me, the test has a 10% inaccuracy rate so they would treat me even if the test was negative. So I had no tests performed. Why then, are you charging me $120 instead of the $92 for a simple visit, I asked. The nurse told me, ""the doctor decides how much the visit costs and enters in a code, so I don't know what made it cost more."" So no one could tell me where I incurred the extra $28 charge. Did I ask too many questions? Was I not friendly enough? Does the doctor not like my t-shirt? Where is the criteria for his charges? Is it okay that he just shrugs his shoulders and pulls a number out of the air and decides to charge that? NO. DO NOT GO TO THIS CLINIC. \r

It's not right that they took advantage of me - I am a poor student who waits tables and I don't have insurance. The doctor knew that, but the corruption that apparently flows through his veins clouds his judgment, and he sees dollar signs on his patients. Don't contribute to this kind of practice.
Pros: Great parking
Cons: They'll rip you off
