Review content:
On Thursday, 3/22, an appointment was made for me to have a chemical stress test done on Tuesday, 3/27, at Cardiology Specialists of Memphis, P.C. When I arrived for my appointment I was told that my appointment had been cancelled because my insurance had not yet been approved. However, no one at Cardiology Specialists had the consideration to leave a message on my cell phone informing me of this. I saw where Cardiology Specialists had called my cell phone but no message was left. When I called them back I was told that there were a lot of people that worked there and that whoever called me would call back ,but no one called. When I went to work after my appointment had been cancelled there was a message on my work phone that was left on Monday, 3/26, but since I was on vacation that day I did not get the message. Since the appointment was made three working days ahead of the procedure I feel that Cardiology Specialist had plenty of time to get the pre-certification needed for the procedure instead of waiting until the last minute to do so. I think it was rude and inconsiderate for Cardiology Specialist to not inform me of the cancelled appointment. If I would have cancelled the appointment at the last minute I am sure that I would have be billed for the missed appointment. It seems as though the people working at Cardiology Specialists are disorganized, inept and non caring.
