Review content:
Wyatt had a gash on his leg that was bleeding pretty badly from a small accident at the dog park, and as I of course didn't want to pay emergency rates for something that wasn't a MAJOR emergency, I rushed him to what my phone claimed was the nearest regular vet hospital. Even though I didn't have an appointment and hadn't phoned ahead, they got me into an exam room right away! After a very minimal wait, the vet joined me, assessed Wyatt, and presented me with our options. As I had suspected, the gash was deep enough to require more than a quick clean and some antibiotic treatment. I was nervous about anesthetizing, so the vet offered to attempt to repair the cut with a sedative and only fully anesthetize if absolutely necessary. At first, It was hard to leave him at an office I wasn't familiar with, in the care of a vet not our own, but the staff were so friendly and caring that I felt confident they'd take the best possible care of him. I received a call from the doctor as soon as the procedure was through. They did keep him for a few hours just to watch him, but he got through the procedure without a hitch! He had a quick, complimentary recheck a week or so after his procedure and has healed up splendidly! I won't hesitate to use this office again and greatly appreciate the care they provided!
