Review content:
The Diner got much better under the leadership of Jamie and cook David with my wife and I eating there frequently.\r
\r
But that was then and this is now. And now it has hit rock bottom with the owners allowing a new cook to buy his way in. Unfortunately, going there with cook Drew is like an episode of Kitchen Nightmares or Restaurant Impossible. 30 minutes for a chicken sandwich that was dry. Today another 30 minutes for pancakes, dry hash browns, and a replacement omelet for the one burnt. Unfortunately the second omelet was undercooked and runny. \r
\r
It's sad to see a new place fail - but it is all about management and The Diner doesn't have any. Or at least not any good management. The sign on the door tonight says the place is closed until Monday when it opens under new management - all that means is that all of the old (and good) staff have been fired or chased out and the place will be filled with new staff, but the same bad food.\r
\r
Save your money, save your disappointment, do your taste buds a treat - AVOID this place.
