Review content:
I will admit one of my biggest annoyances in supermarket shopping are cashiers who will allow the person will 25+ items to go through the express line while making the rest of those with a handful of items wait. That happens at the Pavilions Marketplace at 8969 Santa Monica Boulevard and I don't appreciate it. I consider that extremely poor customer service. I don't care who greets me while I am shopping the store, I care about the rude cashier and yet more rude self-entitled customer who chooses the shortest line in the store to load her cart full of items onto the express line belt. More, I don't appreciate the cashier speaking to her in Spanish and telling her how much she saved today while the rest of us wait. And, I don't appreciate the cashier who ignores two lines of people commenting on the huge order she allowed to go through her 15 items or less line. I further don't appreciate being told by the customer with the huge order admonishing the rest of us holding our few items apiece we should be using the self checkout line if we don't want to wait while the cashier stands there like a mummy and does not apologize to the customers she forced to wait. All things considered, if this is Pavilions' WEHO level of customer service, it is beyond lousy and does not provide a compelling reason to return in the near future. No matter how upscale the store attempts to appear, if the staff behaves like low-rent trailer park employees it reflects on the store. Rude, rude and rude. You've shown me my regular business is not important. Goodbye.
