I have had nothing but great experiences with Marshall Medical. I was worried a few years ago when my Pediatrician closed their doors at Kids First and I tried another family doctor located in the hospital and didn't care for the office staff so we then chose to drive to Battle Creek to the Pediatrician. There staff was great, however the drive was a little lengthy. With my most recent pregnancy we had the pleasant opportunity to meet Dr. Mark Michalka, Dr. Piper, and Dr. Tom Dobbins while I was in the hospital as for they were the doctors on call after she was born. After meeting them there we were impressed and chose to change to their office for our family care. Being a mother of 6, I just can't say enough about how Dr. Tom and Dr. Mark has made my family feel welcomed to their practice and the wonderful and thoughtful care they have given to my children as for we have spent many days in their office this past winter with sicknesses. I was even more impressed with them as for they see many, many patients on a daily basis, and Dr. Mark had only seen my baby one time in the hospital and never saw her again until she was 4 or 6 months old yet he remembered her name from that one visit in the hospital. I thought that was amazing to see that many people, yet remember a babies name whom you've only seen once. Dr. Tom and Dr. Mark have went through the illnesses with my children and have always been very thorough with every visit, but only did what was necessary as for when a child doesn't feel well we don't want to put them through anymore than they have to. I would recommend them to anyone and am greatful for all their help and guidance with my little ones as for with anyone who has children, they are your pride and joy and that is the way these doctors treat my children when they go there, as if they were their own pride and joy. It is a great feeling knowing I can go to this practice and feel comfortable knowing my children are getting the best care possible. Pros: staff, parking, quickness of getting an appt. Cons: sometimes may have to wait a little in waiting room
