I was Amazingly surprised and pleased upon my arrival for the first time at Thrifty Wash. Our brand new washer broke down after only having it for 28 days and forced me into a terrible choice. I had the option of wearing dirty clothes and smelling or going to a public laundromat. I was not sure which option was the worst of the two. My early days of public laundromats could cause anyone nightmares. I pulled up with anxiety going through my body and was extremely upset that it had come to this option. I walked in and was floored. My eyes went right to the immaculately kept floors. Nice large bright tile that one of the employees was mopping to keep the glow of a wonderful place I walked into. I almost forgot I was in a public laundromat. I walked further into the place and it was cleaner than my own laundry set up at home. All of the washers and dryers where clean from dirt or grime. Yes, I did decide to check out the place and to try to find some. I just could not believe my experience. I had a nice chat with the lady that was taking care of the place; her name is Sandy and she gave me the owner's name and number. I wanted to give this person a call to let him know what an excellent job he and his staff have done to make this a truly wonderful experience. When I gave the owner a call, he was pleasant and respectful, exactly what his business represents. This is the first review I have done for any type of business that I have patronized and it gives me great pleasure to do so. Oh, I almost forgot, if you want a snack of chips, candy, or soda while waiting, it won't break the bank. They are only .50 cents each...Yes..that is right!!..yes, even for soda!!..Thank you Mr. Jim Gordon and Sandy for making my day!
