I recently became a new patient and so far my experience with Mahec has been terrible. My first visit went fine just the usual filling out of paperwork and some waiting (though longer than the wait at most doctors offices). I had been sent over to receive Nexplanon (the contraceptive placed in the upper arm). I was told by my doctor after being checked out that she would have the Nexplanon ordered and it should be here in 2-3 weeks and at that point they will call to set up the appointment for the insertion. I waited for a month and a half and called and turns out I wasn't even given the paperwork to be signed for the order to happen! After coming back by the office to fill it out I was told to wait 3 weeks again. Now it's been a whole month and still no word back even after I was told it would be put on rush since I had been waiting because of THEIR MISTAKE. Once I finally get this implanted I'll be switching doctors, it's just ridiculous! I wouldn't recommend this office to anyone! They just seem impersonal and too busy to really deal with their patients properly, which I find pretty important at a gynecologist office!
