I really don't like writing a bad reviews but this one has to be written to hopefully prevent anyone else from the same experience. My daughter has had eyelash extensions done several times in the past from a professionally trained friend that lives out of town. She wanted to get them done for homecoming this next weekend so I saw that Elite Day Spa does them. SO I called and asked some questions...mainly....are they individually applied to each lash. They said yes. How long has the technician been doing them....they said years. So I made the appointment and took in my daughter. In the past it has taken about 2 hours to get them applied so you can imagine my surprise when she came back out after just 45 minutes. She was clearly not happy. She also had a pedicure scheduled so she went ahead and had that done. When we got into the car she was in tears. She said that it felt like she was being poked in the eye with needles. When we got home I looked to see what was possibly causing her so much pain. The eyelash extensions had been glued to the base of her eyelash right on the inner part of the eyelid. No wonder she was in so much pain. Then she told me that the tech didn't have he close her eyes during the procedure and that it hurt the whole time she was doing it. All of this would of been red flags for me but she is only 15 and didn't want to cause a problem. Now we have spent 2 hours painstakingly applying glue remover and pulling these clumps of lashes out. PLEASE if you are looking for someone to do your eyelash extensions....DO NOT GO HERE! The pedicure was great and the girl who did both services was really nice. NOTHING personal at all. But she should not be doing eyelash extensions. She doesn't know what the heck she is doing.
