Review content:
This vet was recommended to us when we bought our puppy at 6 weeks and the first visit was great-the staff was caring and did a thorough job examining her. They even gave us medication to clear up the upper respiratory infection that she had. When we returned for her second round of shots, however, not only was the staff unnecessarily rough with the puppy, they were also condescending and insulting to us. When they took her to the back, they attempted to perform procedures that they had not informed us they were going to do and as we heard her cry from the back, the tech returned to say that our 3-month-old, 10 pound beagle was ""the most vicious and worst behaved dog ever"" and ""the staff was afraid for their lives."" We have since changed animal hospitals and although the new one is more expensive and further away from our home, we would rather pay more drive further simply to know that our animals will be cared for properly and compassionately. While we did like the vet himself, his staff was rude and ill-equipped to deal with animals.
Pros: Kind caring vet, clean and well maintained clinic.
Cons: Rude staff, bad communication.
