Review content:
We just had our lawn mowed for the first time by Experienced Lawncare. I called to get an estimate for mowing the front, alley and side yard (not the back) and was told $37-45. Then the owner Greg asked if I wanted it mowed every week or twice a week and I told him just one time because I wanted to see what kindof work they do. He then told me it would be $45 even though he had not seen the yard size yet (I'm guessing this is because I told him I only wanted it mowed once). \r \r The crew arrived about 4:20 on Friday to mow. As the crew was packing up to leave I looked out and saw large patches of grass where it appeared the lawmower had missed in many different places in the yard. I went out and told the crew that I didn't think it was a good job and I would like it fixed and they told me they would fix it. I then called the owner to let him know they did a bad job and that I had asked them to fix it. He gave me several explanations of why there were long patches, such as the blades were dull or the grass was too long. I told him that it had been at least 3-weeks since we had mowed so he said that was probably why it was patchy. The owner then called me later that evening and told me that he spoke with his guys and they told him that the grass hadn't been mowed in 3-4 weeks and had he know this he would have charged me $75 dollars. I told him he never asked that question and if he had I would have told him, so then he said since he quoted me $45 then thats what he would charge this time. He went on to say that if I have him mow every 1-2 weeks then they will charge $45 per week and if it's over 2 weeks then it will be $75.\r \r I understand that a longer yard is harder to mow and I appreciate them re-doing it when I asked, but had I not stopped his crew before they finished packing up they would have left with the yard looking like crap without even speaking to me about it. I just don't feel this is a company that I can recommend but here is the story so you can make your choice.
